Slapstick Hockey started as a hobby — a way to capture the chaos, comedy, and chemistry that happens at the rink and share it with anyone who'd watch. No big studio, no big budget, just a camera, a mic, and a love for the game.
Over time, that hobby turned into a real content brand. We've covered local tournaments, charity games, and league nights, built partnerships with hockey brands and organizations, and grown a community of fans who show up for the laughs as much as the highlights.
We're still doing what we started doing — just with better gear and a bigger crew.
Jacob is the play-by-play voice of the Huntsville Havoc and lead broadcaster for Slapstick Hockey, bringing over a decade of experience across professional, collegiate, and charitable circuits. A former NHL Video Replay Off-Ice Official with the Tampa Bay Lightning during their back-to-back Stanley Cup runs, he's also called games featuring legends like Peter Forsberg, Henrik Lundqvist, and Marc-André Fleury.
